AIOMI

The Italian Association for the Interactive Multimedia has been organizing IVDC for 4 years, a big success in Italy and abroad.

AIOMI, the Italian Association for the Interactive Multimedia, was founded in Summer 2008 in order to promote, diffuse and preserve the culture of videogames, considered as a form of art and expression of thoughts. These days videogames are actually a main part of the public interest, and AIOMI is fighting so that videogames are considered a cultural product to respect, to study and to understand. That is the reason why AIOMI will support every initiative made in order to valorize and promote the videogame culture, by any means or ways. AIOMI organizes conferences, round tables, exhibitions and events; in addition, AIOMI also organizes educational activities about videogames.

Mission

IVDC is the main annual event of AIOMI, the best moment to promote the message of videogames as a form of art and culture, and as an excellence industrial product. IVDC wants to create relationships and synergies between the professionals and companies in the field, in Italy and abroad. That's the reason why IVDC is a totally free event, open also to the public.
