AIOMI, the Italian
Association for the Interactive Multimedia, was
founded in Summer 2008 in order to promote, diffuse
and preserve the culture of videogames, considered
as a form of art and expression of thoughts. These
days videogames are actually a main part of the
public interest, and AIOMI is fighting so that
videogames are considered a cultural product to
respect, to study and to understand. That is the
reason why AIOMI will support every initiative made
in order to valorize and promote the videogame
culture, by any means or ways. AIOMI organizes
conferences, round tables, exhibitions and events;
in addition, AIOMI also organizes educational
activities about videogames.
